With Thanksgiving nearly here, Corporate Resources of Illinois has much to be thankful for in 2014. This year alone, we’ve serviced countless employers, helping them source incredible talent. In the same sense, we’ve helped hundreds of job seekers find employment. And yet our gratefulness doesn’t end there.
We were also nominated for the Better Business Bureau’s prestigious 2014 Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics award by the Better Business Bureau in Chicago for our customer stellar service, and we relocated to a larger office building—one to accommodate our growing client’s demands and the expansion of our incredible team. Some say the economy, and job openings are getting better and for that we should be thankful. That is without a doubt true, but we believe it’s much more than that.
Much of our success every year is based on building and maintaining positive and long-term relationships, with both clients, and employees. In business and in life, I fundamentally believe people matter and must never be taken for granted. There is a reason why 80% of our client-base are return customers. And for that I am profoundly grateful.
One of my favorite sayings is “It’s not what you say; it’s how you say it. It’s not what you do; it’s how you do it.” This is very much a guideline for how we run our business. Being grateful for everything you have isn’t a thought of even an idea. It’s an emotion of truth that many people take for granted. For over the last two decades, our business has thrived on relationships we’ve built with people —real people, not just companies and brands.
This year we’re not only thankful for the many accomplishments above, but also for our passion, positive attitude and commitment to be the best recruiting firm—one that our clients, employees and families can be proud of.
